Your $45 covers the Sure Check search itself. Some courts and state motor-vehicle agencies charge a separate fee to release a record. Where they do, that fee is billed on top of your $45.
Court access fees are set by individual counties, and many counties charge nothing at all. Which ones apply depends on where your nanny has lived, because we search every county in their address history.
DMV fees are set by the state that issued your nanny’s driver’s license, and apply only to the driving-record part of the check.

Does the person I’m screening need to agree?

If you invite your nanny by email, those fees depend on details they haven’t entered yet, so they are added once their information comes in and show on your receipt.
